JOSH BORG

Josh Borg is a Toronto-based director, cinematographer, and photographer working in narrative, commercial, music, and short films. Throughout his early career, he has always been captivated by abstract photography, exploring various mediums from liminal spaces to atmospheric halations. Josh often employs selective color palettes and innovative compositional methods to create visually striking images that challenge traditional perceptions. His fascination with technological advancements further fuels his creativity, pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling in both still photography and moving images.

Becoming fascinated with the world of cinematography, new and exciting opportunities began to unfold, and he quickly realized that his hobby had become his livelihood. Josh now works with some of the world's most talented industry leaders while running his video production company, Full Frame Productions.

Driven by determination and gratitude, Josh draws much of his inspiration from dynamic weather systems and liminal spaces. Josh's work is characterized by his distinctive use of color and lighting has evolved from his subsequent work through his relentless experimental techniques, often exploring the dichotomy between unconventional environments. With the propensity to pick up the camera and capture the world at a moment's notice, his passion for creating propels his perspective and represents something much grander as he continues to seek the extraordinary in the ordinary.
